Bank transactions – downloading transactions older than 90 days

I have connected my bank feed and only 3 mos. of transactions have flowed in.  How do I get the last year's transactions to populate?

This is a question that I see on the Intuit Community Forum.  You connect your bank account and it pulls in the last 90 days of transactions.  But what if you want to do more?  Most banks allow you to download 18 months back.  But how do you get them into QuickBooks Online?  Here is a short video that demonstrates what you need to do.  Below are the only file types that you can import:

  • QBO
  • QIF
  • OFX
  • CSV (if your bank gives you excel, you can open it, reformat it and save it as a .csv
