The Journey of Artesani Accounting
Like every other small business owner out there, this business took shape in a dream but developed roots through consistency and commitment. It is the culmination of lessons learned from the wisdom gained from the many businesses she worked with.
To truly understand what led Lynda to choose accounting as a profession, you must reflect back to her first job as a part-time bookkeeper with a well company where she first learned the skills of the trade. Fast forward a few years (1999) Lynda started a new position with a real estate/construction company where she assisted the company convert their accounting platform from One Right Plus over to Intuit's QuickBooks platform.
As the new century rolled in, Lynda decided it was time to take a leap of faith and leave the world of W-2's for small business ownership. Thus Rhode Island Bookkeeping was born and exponentially grew. Shortly after her fourth year as a business owner, Lynda decided to move to Florida, where she quickly learned about the ups and downs of owning a business in another state which led to the creation of Artesani Accounting.
While, advancements in technology enabled Lynda to retain the majority of her clients after moving, she found herself struggling to find new clients in an unfamiliar city. Determined to succeed, Lynda started to dedicate hours toward a new community, Intuit's QuickBooks Community. Day after day, Lynda spent her free hours providing solutions to the questions asked by small business owners and her fellow accountants. Before to long, Lynda's generosity, earned her the special title as an Intuit All-Star after providing over 28,000 answers to other community members.
Always driven to achieve more, Lynda continued to grow her practice first locally and finally nationally. Year after year, her confidence and her client base continued to grow presenting new opportunities along the way. In 2018, Intuit selected Lynda to join their prestigious Accountants Council (2018-2019), where she helped advise the Fortune 500 company.
"The key to our success has always been fueled by the relationships we make along the journey. We look forward to writing that next chapter together. - Lynda Artesani "
Around the same time as her nomination for Intuit's Accountant Council, Lynda began collaborating with a fellow accountant on developing their own online group called QB Community Live. The group was built around the core belief that "Together We All Succeed."
